Thank you for your interest in contributing to hold tight tight hold.

If you offer support services to people who have experienced same-sex domestic violence we want to hear from you. Your contribution is vital to enable us to create a resource which will help other agencies to respond effectively in the future.

All contributions will be treated confidentially. If you would like to make your contribution anonymously, please do. Your email address and any other contact details will not be shown, but will visible to the person who receives it. Although these addresses are kept confidential, some people prefer to remain completely anonymous. One way to ensure that your e-mail is anonymous is to create a free e-mail address by visiting Hotmail or Talk21. However, It would be helpful for us to have your organisation's contact details so that we can continue a dialogue in the future.

We aim to raise awareness of the issues, to produce resources to enable people to respond effectively to the occurrence of same sex domestic violence, and to empower individuals affected by it.

You can get involved in a number of ways:

Mapping what already exists: isolation and invisibility means that often people who are experiencing same-sex DV don't know where to turn for support. We are keen to include all available UK research on same-sex domestic violence, with links to support service providers.

Encourage participation: help identify individuals who are ready to participate in the project and encourage them to contact us.

Steering Group: sit on the hold tight tight hold Steering Group, and use your expertise to help guide the project to ensure we are sensitive to the issues and provide the safest, most creative environment for participants.

Tell us what you want from hold tight tight hold: pilot versions of the CD-rom and website will run throughout the project as it develops, and anonymous feedback from individual users will be encouraged via the website, with suggestions for improvement. We'd also like to hear from agencies with ideas and suggestions as to what to include that would help you offer better support for your clients.
